For Ken Benjamin of Lignum Honey, he believes some of his success stems from the use of <em>Interac<\/em> products and good old customer care.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been using the&nbsp;<em>Interac<\/em>&nbsp;e-Transfer platform as a source of payment since the very beginning, especially since the company started with friends and family buying from the business,\u201d he recalls.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ken&#8217;s business is honey; liquid gold sourced from the finest apiaries in Jamaica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lignum\u2019s fans, old and new, haven\u2019t been able to get enough of the products in the short time the company has been in operation.&nbsp;Sometimes his long-time fans will send a text asking if he&#8217;s in their area so they can pick up a jar of their favourite flavour after paying via the <em>Interac<\/em> e-Transfer platform and more often than not, he ends up doing local deliveries. \u201cCustomer engagement is huge for me,\u201d he says. \u201cI listen to and communicate with my customers regularly because I want to make sure that they\u2019re taken care of.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Having a good idea is one thing, but turning it into a business immediately appreciated by friends, family, and foodies is a triumph of its own.
