Interac e-Transfer helps make business payments easier <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Handling payments and other back-office tasks can be a challenge for small business owners, who have to wear many hats at once.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have to be your own accountant. You have to be your own bookkeeper,\u201d says general contractor Scott Stevenson<\/a>. \u201cI have a hard time finding time to invoice [customers] to get paid.\u201d\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why, to keep things quick and simple, Scott uses Interac e-Transfer to do his billing.\u202f \u201cOne of the great things about Interac e-Transfer is the Request Money feature. I can just send somebody an invoice and it\u2019s got a number on it and they can just accept right away and I can get paid instantly. Scott also pays his employees and subcontractors using Interac e-Transfer because it means they get their money faster. \u201cThe people that I hire, they certainly prefer getting an Interac e-Transfer versus a cheque,\u201d he says.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Audrey Morgan, owner of Little Magpie Jewellery<\/a>, it\u2019s the speed and simplicity that have made Interac e-Transfer her go-to solution for business payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have to find services and processes that are as simple as possible,\u201d says Audrey. \u201cUnlike a cheque, Interac e-Transfer happens so incredibly quickly.\u201d\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artist Leeay Aikawa agrees<\/a>. \u201cClients just pay me right away. It is easy for both of us \u2014 because it\u2019s convenient and fast,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Low fees help small business owners keep an eye on the bottom line\u202f\u202f <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every dollar counts when you\u2019re running a small business, and successful owners typically keep a close eye on expenses. For sales transactions and business payments, Alex of Alv\u00e9ole says the cost of each payment solution is an important consideration. \u201cOne of the ways we\u2019ve saved money in our business is by having low fees when we sell our items, and the cheapest way to go is Interac.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Same goes for Evan at Village Grocer. \u201cWe\u2019re happy when people choose Interac Debit. It\u2019s a very cost-effective service,\u201d he says. \u201cYou have to look at all of your operating costs.
